G.Ya. Zheleznov, at the request of his wife, Tomina, adopted her five-year-old son, born to her from her first marriage with B.V. Vasiliev In the future, relations between Zheleznov and Tomina deteriorated. She, along with her son Yura, went to Vasilyev and resumed family life with him. Soon Tomina sued Zheleznov for collecting alimony for the maintenance of Jura. The court, proceeding from the fact that Zheleznov is the adopter of the child, collected alimony from him, however Zheleznov filed a lawsuit to cancel the adoption, since he was virtually deprived of the opportunity to take part in raising the child.
