Tim Shafer´s first adventure game in sixteen years, Broken Age was born two years ago during a record Kickstarter campaign. Now she is here - and she is beautiful, in 2D, in all her hand-painted beauty, with unique orchestral musical accompaniment and star cast.

Broken Age is an ageless story of growing up, nauseous trees and talking spoons. Vella Tartin and Shai Volta are two teenagers who find themselves in surprisingly similar situations, but radically different worlds. The player will be able to freely switch between the two stories, helping them deal with their own destinies and upcoming adventures.

They say that the genre of adventure games has died, but then Broken Age punched the gravestone with its fist and grabbed you by the hand, and at that moment you screamed just like in the end of the movie “Carrie”, except that the words were: “I am so I love adventure games! ” And yes, I´m sorry if we told you the Carrie ending.
