Pathologic Classic HD is the final edition of the original survival adventure
“Pestilence. Utopia ”, where you have to go to the town, which was once a cattle-breeding settlement, lost in the backyards of the ancient steppe. Now the steppe culture is preserved only under the colossal dome of the Slaughterhouses - but, however, its echoes are heard throughout the city; in all its corners equidistant from civilization, unusual people live. Over the years, they have managed to maintain a balance between many contradictions, ready at any time to tear this city apart.

This would continue further if it were not for the outbreak of an unknown, but definitely fatal disease. Prayers do not save. A scientific approach, too. Therefore, the townspeople are forced to seek help from visitors: there are three of them, and each of them is trying to save the city from death - or at least understand the nature of the disease. The first hero is a cold-blooded scientist who readily takes on the role of an investigator; he is entrusted with the task by local authorities. The second is the astute Ripper, a surgeon, and a native of this city; he returned here to accept the terrible inheritance of his father. The third heroine is a strange girl, convinced that she can heal by laying on hands; she would have easily saved the city, but she would have to fight not only with the plague, but also with herself.

“Pestilence. Utopia ”is a first-person psychological adventure where you have to play the role of one of the three saviors, but the story will not be heroic at all. In the world of Mora, moral beliefs and good intentions often give way in the face of despair and need. Knowing the inhabitants of the city closer, you can decide for yourself whether to relieve the pain of your neighbor - or leave the last precious ampoule to yourself, in order to somehow protect yourself from the invisible enemy. Horror will overtake you along with the plague anyway.

12 days in a plagued city. Time is running, or rather running away, and from you. Events unfold regardless of whether you participate in them or not.
70 game hours without the boring repetition of the same quests and tasks. Each new hour brings new opportunities and new commitments.
Three heroes - three unique stories. The stories of the Bachelor, Haruspex and the Pretender are interconnected, but each of them is revealed through its own events, quests, dialogs and microplots.
The plot of the game is highly praised by critics; it is often called the most noteworthy aspect of Mora. This is not just the story of a dying city, but also a cunning ideological conflict of many heroes and communities, each of which has its own ideas about how to live, die and work miracles.
An open world game. Clinging to the plot, however, is not necessary - there are no artificially imposed restrictions in the city. From the first day, you can explore it yourself, creating your own story.
It’s not easy to survive. The city is dying - which means you have to constantly make sure that there is food in the stomach, and at least some kind of immunity in the blood. Constantly make difficult choices.
Looting, exchange, contracts. Resources can be obtained in different ways. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages.
An atmosphere of despair and longing - without trying to dilute it with caricatured villains. The games are over; in “Sea” there are no deliberate attempts to scare, nor easy solutions. We´ll have to do everything in an adult way.
