The video course "Developing Automated Process Control Systems in Codesys" is primarily aimed at a novice automation engineer without previous experience in PLC programming, as well as for those who already work in this area and want to improve their professional skills.
All course material is presented in plain language in an understandable and intelligible way. As it progresses, we will step by step implement a complete automated control system for the production site. The technical task itself is far from abstract, everything that we implement in the course was developed and implemented at a real production facility.

Course of study:

The fundamental part of the course is devoted to the development of software logic for a programmable logic controller that supports the Codesys v2.3 runtime environment. As you learn, we will implement codes in 5 programming languages presented in Codesys(LD, FBD, CFC, ST and SFC). Let´s consider each of them in detail.
In the video course the controller of the Russian company ARIES PLC is taken as an example-110-60-M. but in principle, any other PLC programmable in Codesys v2.3 will also work. Moreover, for training, the controller itself is not necessary to acquire. We will test the work of the program most of the time in the emulator, which is available in Codesys.
In addition to writing software logic, we consider in detail in the video course the hardware peripherals of the PLC, configure its inputs and outputs. And also expand their number by connecting to the PLC I / o modules (for example in the course taken modules MWA8 and MVU8).
In the third part of the course we create a project for the graphical operator panel SP270, integrate it to interact with the written program for the PLC. Thus, we implement a visualization human-machine interface (HMI) for the created ACS.
Also separately, in addition to everything in the course, we consider the wiring diagrams to the PLC and to the I / o modules of sensors and actuators, as well as disassemble the control Board Assembly circuit.
