Developers from Hi-Rez Studios (Smite, Tribes Ascend, Global Agenda) have decided to bring together their expertise in the creation of multiplayer shooters and the mob in a new project called Paladins: Champions of the Realm.

Paladins: Champions of the Realm - this cartoon hybrid of genres in a science fiction setting. Players are available to choose from a variety of characters, each of which has a unique set of abilities. At the moment, it announced one mode, essence of which is to capture control points with the purpose to hold its siege equipment to the enemy base.

Gameplay reminiscent of the classic "fast-paced" online shooter in which from the game requires marksmanship, the ability to avoid attacks and quickly move developers promise to make the cards large enough - imeeno for this in the Paladins: Champions of the Realm implemented system mounts (transportation ).

Of the features of the game is worth noting system cards. As the game progresses, you will receive different cards. It is a kind of boosters, anyway-enhancing characteristics and skills of the characters.

Champions of the Realm.

★ Paladins is a fast paced arena style team FPS, rewarding proper movement and accuracy.

★ You will load in as one of nine Champions, sporting two basic abilities and one movement ability.

★ Draw three cards and choose one at the beginning of the match, and once every time you level up. Cards grow in strength over time. The higher your level, the stronger the cards will be. If you die, all your active cards will go on cooldown for a short time based on their strength, with stronger cards taking a longer time to recharge.

★ There are three kinds of cards: Armor, Weapon, and Ability cards, and this can be seen by their border. Armor cards provide utility and defense, Weapon cards improve your weapon shots, and Ability cards will enhance or change your Champion´s abilities.

★ Throughout the match, capture points will become active that your team must move onto in order to capture. Capturing points spawns a powerful siege engine that automatically marches on your enemy´s base to destroy it. Each base has two outer gates and a vault, which must be destroyed one by one. Once the vault is destroyed, the game is over.
